These obit listings are from the DuQuoin
Tribune Newspaper. They begin with
1867
and
continue through June 1925.
Sometimes more than one listing is
given
for a name, showing that it was in
more than
one
edition of the paper.
They are not the complete obituary.
Names, age, date of publication only.
A full copy of the obituary is available through our PERSONAL
SERVICES.
Some of these obits are now listed on this
site, either in its entirety or a death notice.
Eventually ALL of them will be
listed here,
and I ask your help for this.
If you have
sent for copies,
would you PLEASE contribute
a copy here also?
Many THANKS to those of
you who have already
done so.
(listing NOT complete. More will be added
as data becomes available.)
You may order certified copies of the marriage
license from the County Clerk,
for a nominal
fee + pstg.
It would be best to call them before
ordering
to know exactly what their needs are.
I have included the license number
to aid
in their search.
